Oakwood Hill Village Hall Secures Solar Power Grant

Oakwood Hill Village Hall is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a substantial grant to fund the installation of solar panels and related energy efficiency improvements. The total grant value amounts to £14,787.00, provided by Mole Valley District Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

This project is a part of the broader Levelling Up agenda, aimed at enhancing community infrastructure and promoting sustainable energy solutions. The UKSPF Community Hall Energy Efficiency Grant Scheme Fund 2024/25 is a pivotal initiative supporting local efforts to increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints.

This significant funding will enable Oakwood Hill Village Hall to reduce its energy costs, promote sustainable practices, and serve as a model for other community buildings seeking to enhance their energy efficiency.
